On quilting......

Guess who sewed 120 triangles the wrong way????? Hmmmmmmm?? Got any guesses?? Guess who spent two days ripping and then re-ironing and will now need to spend another day pinning???

Yep, that would be me.

Dawn I saw your shout out a few days ago! I was so jazzed. I emailed you at the hotmail account on your profile. I can be found at mascanlon49@hotmail.com. And I'm so sorry about the triangles..it could have been worse, diamonds that would never ever go back together right!

I've done the sewing the triangles wrong, too. More than once. And sometimes I've even sewed, ripped, and then turned around and did it again on the other side. I'm not sure if I've done 120 at one sitting, tho. I'll share a little tip with you. Sew two or three, then once their out from under the presser foot and dangling off the back of your machine, pull the sewed ones around and take a peek. If you've sewn them wrong, you have caught it long before you've put 120 together and only have a few to rip. It saves me pulling out hairs as I rip out seams.

Uh-oh!!! could you not of tried to change the pattern so they were meant to go the wrong way??? You are a better person than me - think I would of binned it or hidden it rather than unpick it, oh and I would of cried and needed chocolate!!
