The love of my life has told me for years that he is not an animal person.
Then this little lady joined our family 7 years ago.
Most evenings this is her spot. She will lay down right at his feet, look right up at him with her baby browns and sigh.
What's a man to do when faced with that look of adoration.
Yep, gets him every time.
If you've ever been blessed to have a dog....or a cat...who loves you unconditionally, then you are very blessed indeed. :)

This is SO cute!!! We often find SH having 'Jimmy' time!!! (which is cuddles and chats), a great source of entertainment to us !!
I am SO not an animal person so I'm not really sure how I came to be so attached to Chesty. We inherited him when Keith's Mom decided he was too much trouble ( I also inherited Keith's dad that way!). Now I don't even want to think about life without him...I keep telling Keith he's just a dog..but really, he's my 3rd son!
Our boy is a 3 yr English bulldog, Spike who is lazy and sweet and takes up a lot of room in the bed. We are also the "grandparents" of an Old English bulldog, Kaiser, who belongs to my son but for various reasons is usually with us 3 out of 4 weeks. He's 10 and the real reason we have our boy, we missed him when he was gone. They are both staring at me right now waiting for their after dinner treat...a little squirt of whipped cream.
Aaww! They look sweet together.
That is so sweet! Big softy your man is. You know my babies....Joey, king of the house, Macy, who loves to be stroked and told how beautiful she is so she can eat her dinner, and Patches, my talker. You haven't met Daisy yet, but she is a wonderful dog, who just loves you and wants nothing more in return, just love.
