Feeling 12 again!

This week I've been home alone with my dad during the day while my mom is at work.
We are alone.
My dad is feeling large and in charge. He can't do a whole lot since he, you know, had "cancer" and all. It's not stopping him from bossing me around, let me tell ya!! Even with a treach in he can still find his voice to tell me when I need to do a load of laundry or when I've missed a spot while vacuuming. I am feeling 12 again and saying "yes sir" quite a bit! hahahahaha Yesterday, after he snapped his fingers at me to get my attention, I told my sweetest voice, that the next time I had to give him a feeding.....I was gonna stick some codeine in his feeding tube! :) That'll teach him to snap his fingers at me!!!!! Nobody tells me what to do!!! Oops..gotta mom is calling...I have to move furniture...but still Nobody tells me what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta go before I get in trouble!! hahahahahahaha (I may stick some codeine in her coffee too!!!) hahahaha

You're doing good. Not an easy process, but thank God there are daughters like you. YOu may not feel like it but YOU are an angel.

Thanks for all the angels out there, doing their best to help those in need.

Tried to leave you a comment yesterday, Blogger was being difficult!

If you can handle The Capt and The can handle The Dad...LOL You are doing what you need to for now, and won't regret it down the road...this I know...this is promise!

And...if all else fails...dig out your iPod...tune it in and turn it up! LOL for my granddaughter!

Come on, "nurse Dawn" has such a nice comforting ring to it, how about you can educate!!!
All very easy for me to say, I am the teacher, my sister the nurse-my folks are well aware who they are booking for old agaed care...and it aint me!
funny how we go back to our old roles in our original home, my frind is one of 5 now very successful and corporate women, but when they go home they all fight like they are 12!
Keep up the good work...and loved the flight story, how are the family coping without you? Tracey
