Vonage...it's a good thing!

We got our Vonage phone all hooked up here at Chez' Owens. You hook this little box up to your computer...plug a phone in...decide what area code you want and whalla you can dial the states from South Korea without it costing you an arm and a leg. We picked my mom's area code. Now whenever I call her it's like I'm calling the neighbor next door. I LOVE IT!!!
I had to work today. For those of you who are new around here I substitute teach at the kids' school. We've got k-12th grade and you can sub for any class that they call you for. This time I got 2nd grade. If you have a 2nd grader go and hug their teacher! HUG THEM NOW!!!! AND SEND THEM CHOCOLATE...AND MAYBE BOOZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2nd grade is tough. They are filled with energy and it's hard for some of them to focus. They are also really sweet and try so hard to please the teacher. I had a good time. I only had to sub for half the day but to hear the Capt tell it I worked 80 hours in one day. :) That man loves it when I'm out there doing something that doesn't include spending money. Next week I go back to the land of the big people. I sub for a teacher in the Jr High section. Math again. God help them! :)
I am off to go and get ole' 2010 out of the shop. She hasn't been sounding so good so we took her to see the mechanic. She needed a new catalytic converter. I started to sweat big time when he told us that cause I'm thinking this is going to cost us a zillion dollars. The man made a phone call to see how much he was sopposed to charge and came back shaking his head and looking very sad. He says, "so sorry, very expensive, $100.00". yep, $100.00 I love it here! :) So I am back on the road. Look out Korea!!!! Me and 2010 are back!!
bye everyone!
